No doubt taking full advantage of the impressive sales of their previous year’s album "Volumen Brutal”, Spain’s Barón Rojo (translating as Spanish for "Red Baron”) originally released their third LP "Metalmorfosis” in 1983.
Originally forming in 1980 by brothers Carlos and Armando de Castro, both on vocals and guitar, joined by José Luis Campuzano on bass and drummer Hermes Calabria. Once again recording in England, this time they relocated to Battery Studios in London.
Featuring liner notes from Classic Rock and Metal Hammer scribe Malcolm Dome based on new interviews with the band, plus a 16 page booklet featuring rare images and memorabilia, HNE Recordings are pleased to be reissuing this heavy metal classic.
