江戸・侍statue展 ART OF WAR〈謙信〉 Edo Samurai Statue Exhibition ART OF WAR (Kenshin)
江戸時代、江戸という地は武蔵の国と呼ばれ古くから武士の発祥の地とされています。江戸時代の中心は江戸城（現在の皇居）であり、その江戸城を中心に町づくりが行われました。日本橋も江戸城への物資供給のために開発され発展した土地です。現在の豊洲市場も江戸時代は日本橋にあり、元は江戸城に納めた魚の残りを町民に販売することで大きな賑わいをみせていました。また、武士の時代である徳川幕府が最も平和で、他国の攻撃を受けない治安も安定した世界最大規模の民度の高い文化都市であったことも忘れてはなりません。武士たちが長い時間をかけて現在の東京の発展の基盤を作ったのです。
今回、丸善日本橋店では江戸の原点である『武士・侍』に焦点をあて展示販売を行います。すべて美術品として手掛け、特にクオリティには妥協を許さず、本物を追求し続けている株式会社謙信監修のもと、通常は店頭では見ることができない作品たちを、直接見て確認することができるこの機会をぜひお楽しみください。1Fセレクション売場
During the Edo period, the area known as Edo was called Musashi-no-kuni and has long been regarded as the birthplace of the samurai. The centre of the Edo period was Edo Castle (today's Imperial Palace), around which the town was built. Nihonbashi was also developed and developed to supply goods to Edo Castle. The current Toyosu Market was also located in Nihonbashi during the Edo period, and was originally a very busy market where the remainder of the fish delivered to Edo Castle was sold to the townspeople. It should also be remembered that the Tokugawa Shogunate, the era of the samurai, was the most peaceful and the largest civilised and cultural city in the world, with a stable security system that was not attacked by other countries. Over a long period of time, the samurai laid the foundations for the development of Tokyo as we know it today.
This time, the Maruzen Nihonbashi shop will focus on the origin of Edo - the Samurai. The exhibition will be held under the supervision of Kenshin Corporation, which handles all works as works of art and is uncompromising in its pursuit of authenticity.
