2024年春　丸善革職人展 いたがき　～Leather Craftsmen's Exhibition～

定番の牛革からエキゾチックレザーまで様々な革を用いて、職人たちがプロの技術で作り上げたトートやショルダー、リュックなどバッグから、ウォレットコインケース、ペンケースなど展示即売いたします。実演やワークショップも行います。ぜひこの機会に職人と過ごす空間をお楽しみください。

前半：3月20日（水）～3月26日（火）・後半：3月27日（水）～4月2日（火）

We will exhibit and sell bags such as totes, shoulders, backpacks, wallet coin cases, pen cases, etc., made with professional skills by craftsmen using a variety of leathers from standard cowhide to exotic leathers. Demonstrations and workshops will also be held. Please take this opportunity to enjoy the space with artisans.

素材のこだわり「タンニンなめし革」。時間をかけてなめされるタンニンなめし革は時を経て土に還る環境にやさしい天然素材です。タンニンなめしは太古の昔から行われていた技術で、植物から抽出した渋(タンニン)を使用して約2か月の歳月をかけてじっくりなめす方法です。仕上がった革は収縮が少なく堅牢で、使うほどに馴染、深い色合いに変化するのが特徴です。
