2024年秋　丸善革職人展　chi.wata　～Leather Craftsmen's Exhibition～

定番の牛革からエキゾチックレザーまで様々な革を用いて、職人たちがプロの技術で作り上げたトートやショルダー、リュックなどバッグから、ウォレットコインケース、ペンケースなど展示即売いたします。実演やワークショップも行います。ぜひこの機会に職人と過ごす空間をお楽しみください。

前半：8月28日（水）～9月3日（火）・後半：9月4日（水）～9月10日（火）

We will exhibit and sell bags such as totes, shoulders, backpacks, wallet coin cases, pen cases, etc., made with professional skills by craftsmen using a variety of leathers from standard cowhide to exotic leathers. Demonstrations and workshops will also be held. Please take this opportunity to enjoy the space with artisans.

【プロフィール】
千綿 雅人　
物造りを始めて10年になります。大阪のバンタンデザイン研究所で靴作りを学び、その後関東で健康靴や中敷作成をしておりました。ただ働いていく中で、靴は健康を損なう恐れがあることやデザインの可能性が少ないことに疑問を感じ、キャンパスが大きい鞄に魅力を感じ独学で鞄作りを始め今に至ります。工房は高円寺と埼玉にございます。

I have been making things for 10 years. I studied shoemaking at the Vantan Design Institute in Osaka, and later worked in the Kanto area making health shoes and insoles. However, as I was working, I began to question the health risks of shoes and the lack of design possibilities, and I was attracted to bags with large campuses. We have workshops in Koenji and Saitama.
Our motto is "not to have a common design, but to have individuality.
We started our business with a strong desire to create leather products that are not just commonplace designs, but that are unique just by having them, and that people passing by will naturally stop and take notice of. We also provide after-sales care to ensure that our leather products are light and strong, and can be used for a long time with peace of mind, despite their weight, which is a concern for leather products. (We will repair any defects in use free of charge.)
