2024年秋　丸善　革職人展　gakou　～Leather Craftsmen's Exhibition～

定番の牛革からエキゾチックレザーまで様々な革を用いて、職人たちがプロの技術で作り上げたトートやショルダー、リュックなどバッグから、ウォレットコインケース、ペンケースなど展示即売いたします。実演やワークショップも行います。ぜひこの機会に職人と過ごす空間をお楽しみください。

We will exhibit and sell bags such as totes, shoulders, backpacks, wallet coin cases, pen cases, etc., made with professional skills by craftsmen using a variety of leathers from standard cowhide to exotic leathers. Demonstrations and workshops will also be held. Please take this opportunity to enjoy the space with artisans.

【プロフィール】
2009年、本当に良い物を作り世に出そうと手縫い革製品の制作を始める。2012年、自分の責任で、自分の手の届く範囲で、消耗・消費されていかない物と物作りをしていこうと自身の名をブランド名とした工房gakou(ガコウ)を設立。手縫い革製品を身近に楽しんで頂きたいという想いから百貨店や大手書店での実演販売を中心に活動している。

In 2009, he started making hand-sewn leather products in an effort to create and release truly good products to the world.　In 2012, he established his own brand, gakou, with his own name as the brand name, in order to make products that will not be consumed or consumed on his own responsibility and within his own reach. He is active mainly in demonstration sales at department stores and major bookstores with the hope of making hand-sewn leather goods more accessible and enjoyable.
He is a great fan of hand-stitched leather goods.

In order for more people to enjoy such hand-sewn leather products, we produce a wide range of products from reasonably priced small leather goods to high-end leather bags.
