第13回 丸善 木の匠展 ル・コーゲイ The 13th Maruzen Wood Artisans Exhibition, LE KOOGEI
手ざわりや、重さ、かおり、木目など木の表情を生かした逸品を取り揃えました。

LE KOOGEI（ ル・コーゲイ）は沖縄に自生している蔓性の植物、クージ（トウツルモドキ）素材に着眼し、それを蘇らせ、さらに現代的に昇華させて、今、新たな伝統を生み出し、継承しています。このプロジェクトは沖縄の伝統工芸の琉球ガラス、花織みんさ、そして新たに琉球藍染とのコラボレーションを実現させ、誰にも真似できない唯一無二の商品を世界発信しています。
「技術をデザインする」というテーマのもと2025年のル・コーゲイはアート
オブジェのようなカゴバックの制作に取り組んでいます。ヒゴ編み、琉球ガラス、藍染などそれぞれの工程に携わる人々の技術が美しいハーモニーを織りなします。
LE KOOGEI has focused on the kuji material, a vine native to Okinawa, reviving it and sublimating it into a more modern form to create and carry on a new tradition. This project has realized collaborations with traditional Okinawan crafts such as Ryukyu Glass, Hanaori Minsa, and the new Ryukyu Indigo Dyeing, and has produced one-of-a-kind products that cannot be imitated by anyone else in the world.
Under the theme of “designing technology,” Le Kogei in 2025 will be an art company.
Le Kogei in 2025 will be creating art objects like basket bags. The techniques of the people involved in each process, such as higo weaving, Ryukyu glass, and indigo dyeing, are woven together in beautiful harmony.
