第13回 丸善 木の匠展 オザキ工芸 The 13th Maruzen Wood Artisans Exhibition, Ozaki Kougei

徳島卓越技能者（阿波の名工）。23歳から木工業に入り、大手企業の下請けで家具の製造をしていました。その技術を活かして自社の商品を製造販売しています。木工と藍染の産地である徳島ならではの伝統技術を使用し、新しいアクセサリーと器が誕生しました。木と藍染の良さを多くの方に知っていただきたいと考えています。藍染木製品はよく乾燥した木材を天然灰汁発酵建てした藍液だけ使用し、藍染し、木工制作で培ってきた硬質エコウレタン塗装で1つ1つ手作業で仕上げています。塗装することで色落・キズを防止すると共に、ガラス質の表面被膜が木目と藍染の重なりの美しさを引き出し上品で優しい輝きを与えます。アクセサリーは木で出来ているので宝石よりも軽くつけ心地が良く、胸元を華やかに演出することができます。
Tokushima Outstanding Skilled Worker (Awa no Meiko), started working in the woodworking industry at the age of 23, manufacturing furniture as a subcontractor for a major company. He uses these skills to manufacture and sell his own products. Using traditional techniques unique to Tokushima, the birthplace of woodworking and indigo dyeing, new accessories and vessels have been created. We hope that many people will appreciate the quality of wood and indigo dyeing. Aizome wood products are dyed with indigo solution made from well-dried wood and fermented with natural lye, and then finished by hand with hard eco-friendly urethane coating, which we have cultivated in the woodworking industry. The coating prevents color loss and scratches, and the glassy surface film brings out the beauty of the overlap of the wood grain and indigo dye, giving it an elegant and gentle shine. Since the accessories are made of wood, they are lighter and more comfortable to wear than jewelry, and they can be worn on the chest for a glamorous look.
