2025年秋　丸善革職人展　chi.wata　～Leather Craftsmen's Exhibition～

定番の牛革からエキゾチックレザーまで様々な革を用いて、職人たちがプロの技術で作り上げたトートやショルダー、リュックなどバッグから、ウォレットコインケース、ペンケースなど展示即売いたします。実演やワークショップも行います。ぜひこの機会に職人と過ごす空間をお楽しみください。

We will exhibit and sell bags such as totes, shoulders, backpacks, wallet coin cases, pen cases, etc., made with professional skills by craftsmen using a variety of leathers from standard cowhide to exotic leathers. Demonstrations and workshops will also be held. Please take this opportunity to enjoy the space with artisans.

【プロフィール】
千綿 雅人　
物造りを始めて10年になります。大阪のバンタンデザイン研究所で靴作りを学び、その後関東で健康靴や中敷作成をしておりました。ただ働いていく中で、靴は健康を損なう恐れがあることやデザインの可能性が少ないことに疑問を感じ、キャンパスが大きい鞄に魅力を感じ独学で鞄作りを始め今に至ります。工房は高円寺と埼玉にございます。

ありふれたデザインではなく持つだけで個性が出る、すれ違う人が自然と目を止めてしまう】そんな革製品を作りその世界観をより多くの人に知ってもらいたいと強く思い起業しました。そして、革製品で懸念される重さに対して軽く丈夫に、安心して永くご愛用いただけるアフターケアもしっかりしております。(ご使用上での不具合等無償でお直し対応しております)

【Profile】
Masato Chiwata
I have been engaged in craftsmanship for 10 years. I studied shoe making at the Vantan Design Institute in Osaka and later worked in the Kanto region creating health-focused shoes and insoles. However, as I continued working, I began to question the potential risks shoes posed to health and the limited design possibilities. I was drawn to the larger canvas of bags and began self-taught bag making, leading me to where I am today. My workshops are located in Koenji and Saitama.
【Philosophy】
I aim to create leather goods that stand out not through generic designs, but through their unique character—pieces that naturally catch the eye of passersby. I founded my business with the strong desire to share this vision with as many people as possible. Additionally, addressing concerns about the weight of leather goods, I prioritise lightweight yet durable designs, ensuring they can be enjoyed for years with proper aftercare. (We offer free repairs for any issues arising from use.)
