FUJITOYOはクロコダイル革に特化したタンナーです。皮繊維の特殊な構造と希少性ゆえ、クロコダイルの革を扱えるタンナーは世界でも20数社程度で、高価なことからも保守的なイメージの強い素材ですが、近年では、艶消しマット仕上げ、クロコのヌメなど、クロコの本質的な魅力を引き出す新しい表現を開発し続けています。また、1950年に創業して以来、少しずつ内製率を向上させ続けています。クロコダイル革の美しさと風格を少しでも多く引き出せるように。美しさと風格を保ったまま、1年でも、1日でも、革が長持ちするように。そんな思いで、2020年、革づくりからものづくりまですべての工程の内製率100％を達成いたしました。

FUJITOYO is a tannery specializing in crocodile leather. Due to the unique structure and rarity of crocodile skin fibers, there are only about 20 tanneries worldwide capable of processing crocodile leather. Though it is an expensive material with a conservative image, in recent years, we have continued to develop new expressions that bring out the inherent charm of crocodile leather, such as matte finishes and crocodile nubuck. Since its founding in 1950, the company has steadily increased its in-house production rate. The goal is to bring out as much of the beauty and elegance of crocodile leather as possible, while ensuring that the leather lasts as long as possible—whether it be for a year or a day. With this vision in mind, in 2020, the company achieved a 100% in-house production rate for all processes, from leather production to manufacturing.
