This is one of the British literature's masterpieces in mystery novels: While the greatest British detective in 19th century is Sherlock Holmes, he would be the one from Belgium in 20th century; i.e. Hercule Poirot.
On the Orient Express departing from Istanbul in Turkey to Calais in France, one murder occurs, and Poirot starts to investigate this complicated case where "Everyone is a suspect" and a wide variety of background around them is gradually getting revealed.
In the final phase of the story, Poirot suggests 2 solutions for the express passengers in suspicion. However, as one of interesting highlights, the final conclusion itself is not described explicitly in the novel and it depends on each film and TV drama how this case gets concluded at the very last scene, which also attracts you :)
